   1. This upgrade must be applied to MIC v3.31 only. It will have no
effect on MIC v3.3 or on the Enhanced MIC v3.31 pre-release.

   2. Installation procedure.

       - This patch software is installed from within AMS in the usual way
from the "Install an AMS Application" option on the main menu.
This procedure copies the application into the MICFILES directory
         on the specified destination disk.

       - The destination disk supplied must be the disk on which MIC was
         originally installed.

   3. This patch is released to solve a problem with HIRESPAL mode in MIC
       v3.31.
HIRESPAL mode requires the use of more than 1 display page, and
before MIC v3.31 this was accomplished by using all of page 0 and
part of page 1 for HIRESPAL page 0, and all of page 2 and part of
page 3 for HIRESPAL page 2. In this way, pages 1 and 3 were unusable.
This was changed in MIC v3.31 so that instead of using standard sized
pages (some of which were unused), the start address of the display
pages was altered so that pages 0, 1 and 2 were usable.
The start address of each page can be found in the word at memory
location $40:4E which holds the start address for the currently
       displayed page.
Courses which assume standard size pages, and do not check the start
address will not work correctly in MIC v3.31. This is corrected by
       this patch.

   4. The patch will come into effect the next time that MIC is loaded.
