1. This patch must be applied to MIC v3.31 Enhanced,
MIC System I v4.0 or above.

2. Installation procedure.

-This patch software is installed from within AMS in the
usual way from the "Install and AMS Application" option
on the main menu. This procedure copies the application
into the MICFILES directory on the specified destination
     disk.

-The destination disk supplied must be the disk on which MIC
     was originally installed.

Alternatively you may run the lcd.bat file from the DOS prompt.

3. This patch is supplied to enable the DVA-4000 to output a
display signal to an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) monitor.
This patch will work in 640 x 480 x 16 screen resolution mode,
but is not suitable for use with any S-VGA modes, including
    640 x 480 x 256.

4. The patch will come into effect the next time that MIC is loaded.

5. Please be aware that this patch produces a 5% expansion of the
video which MIC-SERV is unaware of. There is a corresponding
5% loss of video along the right hand side of the screen.

6. Should you subsequently wish to use your DVA-4000 and MIC System
Software with a standard VGA screen, you will need to copy the
DVA-HPOS.SAV file from your \MICFILES directory to DVA-HPOS.HPG,
    thus overwriting the patch file.

The standard DVA-HPOS.HPG file and the patch supplied with this
diskette are mutually incompatible. The DVA-HPOS file contained
on this diskette is for use with LCD screens only, and the
DVA-HPOS.HPG file supplied with your MIC System Software is for
    use with VGA monitors only.
