    Which Diamond/Supra Modems contain a Flash-ROM?               !.H1

    You want to update the Flash-ROM. Which file do you 
    have to use?                                                  !.H2

    List (selection) of the product codes for Diamond/Supra

    Trying to flash a modem-ROM, you get the error message:
    "Modem doesn`t support flash.", but the used file is 
    correct (see product code).                                   !.H4

    You want to use the 288 modem type with the high data

H1 Bios updates for the SupraFAX Modem 288 are possible via software-flash 
   programs.
   The SupraExpress modem contains no Flash-ROM!

H2 The filename contains the product code and the release number.
   The command ATI92 (not available with old ROM versions) gives the
   code information of your modem.
   e.g.   calling ATI92 results the code SUP1280
          the regarding file name is 128... (e.g. 12813013)

H3 SUP1200 = SupraFAXModem 288 V.34 external
   SUP1210 = SupraFAXModem 288i V.34 internal
   SUP1220 = SupraFAXModem 288PB V.34 PowerBook
   SUP1280 = SupraFAXModem 288 V.34 German/Australian external
   SUP1290 = SupraFAXModem 288i PnP V.34 internal
   
H4 If your modem contains an old ROM version you might have to update
   in two steps. That means that you have to install first a prior 
   version before you install the current version.
   (The ROM version has to support the current flasher.)
   e.g.  ROM version 1.00 - is the installed version
         ROM version 3.00 - is the current version
         ROM version 2.00 - has to be installed prior the current 
                            3.00 version
         
H5 Note: The upgrade program (28.8 kbps to 33.6 kbps) is not offered
   in Germany because there is no general BTZ 33.6 kbps update licence 
   for 28.8 modems available.
